The Brancusi Ring explores the human face as a recurring subject in art throughout history and across cultures. From artefacts and ritual objects to modern sculpture, the face has been continually reinterpreted through abstraction, distilled into essential forms that convey identity and expression.

Hand-carved in wax and cast using the lost-wax process, the ring draws on the tradition shared by jewellery making and bronze sculpture. As a sculptural form, it explores the relationship between art, material and personal adornment.
