Inspired by the sculptural stone heads of artist Emily Young, the Angel Ring explores the quiet presence and timeless beauty of the human face. Young’s serene, androgynous figures are characterised by their powerful, carved features and the interplay between raw, natural surfaces and refined sculptural forms. Exhibited throughout London and internationally, her work celebrates the expressive qualities of stone and the enduring connection between humanity and the natural world.

Translating this sculptural language into wearable art, the Angel Ring features a contemplative face that evokes a sense of stillness, strength and quiet introspection. Its sculptural form transforms the human visage into a personal object of adornment, balancing the expressive character of a carved figure with the permanence of precious metal.

Each ring is hand-carved in wax and cast in sterling silver using the ancient lost-wax casting process. Available in a luxurious high-shine polish or a soft satin finish, each surface offers a different interpretation of the design: the polished silver emphasises the contours and catches the light, while the satin finish lends the piece a more understated, sculptural quality.
