2 Day, One-to-One Tuition | London Jewellery Studio | £800.

Spend two days with me in my London jewellery studio, where I develop my own jewellery and sculptural work, exploring the possibilities of wax as a material for making.

These private, one-to-one classes are an extension of my one-day sessions, offering more time to experiment, develop your skills and explore ideas in greater depth, at a reduced two-day rate.

Whether you're completely new to wax or looking to build on existing experience, the two days will be shaped around your interests and what you'd like to achieve.

Choose from three options:

• Two-Day Mitsuro Hikime Class — Explore the traditional Japanese wax-sculpting technique, learning how to stretch, pull and manipulate warm wax to create flowing forms and delicate linear textures. We'll also look at the wax's properties and how to make your own Mitsuro wax from scratch.


• Two-Day Wax Carving & Modelling Class — Learn to carve, shape and build forms in wax, exploring different tools, materials and techniques to create your own jewellery or sculptural pieces. We can focus on subtractive carving, additive modelling, surface textures and refining your designs.


• Two-Day Combined Wax Carving, Modelling & Mitsuro Hikime Class — An opportunity to explore both approaches over two days, discovering their different qualities and how they might complement one another. We can divide the time between the techniques or follow your interests as your ideas develop.


Your Experience

Before the class, we'll discuss what you'd like to learn so I can prepare the materials and demonstrations best suited to you.

Working together at the bench, I'll share my knowledge through personal demonstrations and hands-on guidance, giving you the freedom to experiment, ask questions and develop your own approach.

With two days together, there's more time to become familiar with the materials, revisit techniques and work towards a particular piece or idea. You're welcome to bring sketches, reference images or existing wax models, or simply arrive with curiosity and see where the process takes you.

Two Days in My Studio

This is an opportunity to spend time learning in the studio where my own work takes shape. Away from the pace of a group class, we can work at a pace that suits you, exploring the techniques you're most interested in and giving your ideas the attention they deserve.

Whether you'd like to discover something new, develop your confidence with wax or bring a personal design closer to reality, these two days offer the space to explore the process more deeply.

From Wax to Metal

Casting is not included, but I'll guide you through preparing your wax models for lost-wax casting and recommend suitable casting services where needed.

Booking Information

£800 for two days of private, one-to-one tuition, at a discounted rate compared with booking two individual day classes.

All levels are welcome.

Dates can be adjusted after booking if circumstances change nearer the time. Due to the advance booking payment, cancellations and refunds are not possible. However, an alternative date can be arranged up to the day before your scheduled session.
